You have probably seen the "Send information to Microsoft" window occationally for no reason, this is caused by the same thing. You see, after a while the program gets damaged and then when you try to start it up or do something with it it will fail. This in turn can cause problems like this. Also, if Windows is doing something at the time, like writing data to the hard disk then it may be caught updating the file allocation table and then corrupt entries, cross linking files or pointing it to junk data. Since the data on the hard disk is really just stored by the use of magnetic particles then this happening isn't surprising. This can be caused by power failures or other things like this. Occationally files on a computer can get corrupted. If you want answers then I will give you some insight to what causes this problem. ![]()
